Honda F1 team boss Ross Brawn has said he was pleased with Brazilians Bruno Senna and Lucas di Grassi during this week's test at Circuit de Catalunya. While it was Bruno Senna's debut in Formula 1 it was also the first time for Lucas di Grassi he enjoyed a test for the Honda Formula 1 team.
Vettel happy with early test form
On the final day of this week's three-day test at Barcelona, Sebastian Vettel once again set the fastest time of the day, working on a programme centred on evaluation of the Bridgestone slick tyres to be used in 2009.

Honda concluded the first test of the winter at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona on Wednesday with Bruno Senna at the wheel for a full day.
Sato unable to rate his chances
Takuma Sato enjoyed two days of testing this week at Circuit de Catalunya at Scuderia Toro Rosso. The Japanese driver was well on the pace with the car and hopes to join the Italian's as the team's race driver for next season. He is unable to rate his changes though he said.
Piquet wraps up Renault test
Renault concluded its opening winter test session today at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. The team continued working with the R28 as Nelson Piquet completed his third day of work this week.

Sebastian Vettel continued to impress at the wheel for his new team, finishing the final day of testing this week at Barcelona on top of the timesheets as Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso led the way again.
'STR's driver decision is purely a financial issue'
According to Sebastien Bourdais, Scuderia Toro Rosso has not signed up any drivers for 2009 as they are trying to get the best driver with the biggest budget. The Frenchman is the team's 2008 driver but as he is unable to bring a big sponsor along he fears a deal for 2009 might not happen because of that.

The famous 'Senna' named has returned in the Formula 1 paddock. After two years of racing in the GP2 series Bruno Senna enjoys two days of testing at the Honda Formula 1 team. According to Senna he received a warm welcome in the F1 paddock.

The Honda Formula 1 team is evaluating its drivers for 2009 this week in Barcelona. The team sees Brazilians Lucas di Grassi and Bruno Senna behind the wheel of the team's RA108. On Tuesday Di Grassi completed his work for the team.

Renault pushes on with test
Renault continued its winter testing programme today in Barcelona as the team's regular driver Nelson Piquet was again joined by young Dutchman, Giedo van der Garde. Nelson completed a full day's work, while Giedo drove for half the day as reward for winning the World Series by Renault earlier this year.
Vettel fastest on day 2
Sebastian Vettel completed the fastest lap with Red Bull Racing at the second day of testing at Circuit de Catalunya. The German was just ahead of Toro Rosso drivers Buemi, Sato and Bourdais. At Force India Pedro de la Rosa made a surprise visit and completed 86 laps with the Silverstone based team.
Ecclestone to replace points for medals?
Formula 1 could see even more changes next season as Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has said the FIA is considering to introduce medals in F1. Ecclestone confirmed that he is seriously considering dropping the points-based drivers' championship for a medal-based title race, which should make it more exciting.

Formula One's preparations for 2009 got under way this week at Circuit de Catalunya. The BMW Sauber F1 team clearly showed F1's new looks at the Spanish track and according to BMW's test driver it is clearly the worst car he has ever seen in Formula 1.

De la Rosa joins Force India in Barcelona
McLaren test driver Pedro de la Rosa is testing for the Force India Formula 1 team at Circuit de Catalunya on Tuesday. Rumours already suggested that the Spaniard could very well soon replace either Giancarlo Fisichella or Adrian Sutil in 2009 and De la Rosa's test in Spain will now only feed these rumours.
